The eLearning Coach will focus on planning, implementation, and continual training with the latest instructional tools within the area of technology.  This position will provide support for the 1:1 initiative for staff and students alike.  The role is to support teachers within the classroom so they can maximize student learning using the latest available technology.  The role will also support other staff members and students as much as possible.

 

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. 

1.  Provide assistance to staff in the selection of technology resources.

2.  Assist staff in planning for the use and infusion of technology within the instructional programming.

3.  Be able to troubleshoot technology issues when it comes to delivering instruction for our diverse student population.

4.  Assist staff to find materials that can effectively differentiate instruction for our diverse student population.

5.  Assist staff with data based decision making with new technology items as well as state, district, and individual teacher assessment.  

6.  Provide job embedded, after-school, and extended year professional development opportunities to support the staff with technology integration as it relates to curriculum, instruction, and assessment.  

7.  Provide support and professional development with new instructional software/hardware and other district technology initiatives.  

8.  Understands and is able to navigate all of the Warrick County School Corporation software and hardware systems as it they pertain to teachers, staff, and students.  

9.  Understands and is knowledgeable about technology trends and how to prepare for these changes.  

10.  Attends, local, state, and national conferences dealing with technology and instruction as well as being able to bring back and disseminate this information in a easy to digest manner.  

11.  Google Certified Trainer or willing to become one.

12.  Be able to communicate in a timely manner with teachers, students, administration, staff, and technology staff.

13.  Other duties as assigned.  

 

Qualifications - At least (3) years of math or language arts teaching experience in the K-12 setting.
